I've noticed a curious case of https://hivel.ink/@akin-laoye whose account was made on 2025-03-06, yet by 2025-03-23 with only 3 posts and no comments, his reputation was already 46.27. (Now, on 2025-04-30 his reputation is 51.94.)
Yours truly joined Hive through Ecency on 2024-09-08 with reputation score 25, and after hundreds of daily posts and painstakingly slow growth by less than 0.01 increments, my reputation is still around ~40, which is less than what other account have started with.
Is there a sensible explanation for that?
P.S. Interesting: somehow this post triggered thefed (and few other haters) to dovnvote absolutely everything that I recently posted (over 50 downvotes in total, from several accounts), comments and posts alike (whether original or not), knocking down my reputation to what it is now. Apparently that's how downvote warfare looks like.
You have a 31 reputation according to my view. I would suggest you stop DVing people. Soon it will be in negative. Take the DV’s like a man and stop trying to keep up with accounts who are 50X bigger. It will pass and they’ll move on. It’s not a smart move. Good Luck 👍
