Speak your own language!

Well, grief, pain, anger, happiness are often uncontrollable and mostly ineffable. The words just won't come out to describe how we're feeling.

I've been there and I'm sure most of you have too.
Y'know, one reason I appreciate this medium I'm using to communicate with y'all, which is the ecency platform, is that, it's also how i communicate my feelings- through writing.

What do you do to relax your nerves?
In a stressful world, all we could do is just manage the stress, as we're unable to eradicate it completely.
Someone once told me that she manages her stress through crying. I was stupefied. Why? Crying is stressful, so I couldn't fathom how it was a stress reliever, but, what I could fathom, was that it prolly worked for her. That's her language.

I've met some eccentric people over the years with one or two idiosyncrasies that crack me up. Realising that these things they do help them overcome a particular challenge brings me immense joy as they're finally communicating in a language their body understands.

As funny as it may sound, cardiac arrests have been stopped with a kiss on the lips. How?
Tension rises and you hold your breath allowing you to calm down and breathe normally again. Amazing, right?!

There are a lot of ways we could communicate how we feel, though apart from writing and crying as previously mentioned.
Another way we can communicate our feelings is through music.
The songs we play and listen to have a toll on us.
Take for example, you listen to an instrumental of waves crashing on the rocks near the sea shore. How relaxing that would be. Your nerves relax, automatically giving you the sense of calmness you need at that particular point in time.

Or, it could be slow and sober songs. Some, if not all of us, like songs that put us in our feelings. Songs that we can relate too, after all, almost everyone relates to one thing or the other so it's normal. It's an efficient way of communicating your feelings.

What if we communicate our feelings through personal space. It's perfectly alright if we just want to be by ourselves for a while and just let all the emotions we're feeling sink deep into us.

It's inevitable that from time to time, we'd struggle to communicate our feelings. Another way people do that is by talking to someone about how they feel. This could be quite daunting if the person isn't a good listener. That's true because feelings are communicated to be understood, so, what's the point of saying how you feel if you won't be understood?

It would even leave you feeling worse than you already are.

Now, we've discussed about how to communicate your feelings if you have a means to.
What if you don't? There's still a solution.

Everyone has likes and dislikes, which are imperative to finding how to communicate in your own way.
Here's a tip;
Write down a list of the things you like doing and the things you don't like.
Give each one a try especially when you're feeling kinda blue.
Over time, you'd get accustomed to the routine of doing something you like anytime you're down.

This is an effective technique that millions of people have attested to.
It's not time to review your scenario.
Regardless of the point of this whole discussion, the first thing to learn is how to control your feelings.

Avoiding becoming moody easily would help you avoid frustration that comes with being misunderstood and not being able to communicate how you are feeling.

Some would rather bottle things up, but that is an ill-advised decision.
It's always good to let things out, one way or the other as it relieves you and the stress it has on your mentak health.

It's often said that; "a problem shared is a problem solved", so, utilise the good friends you have.
Talk to those who understand and care about you and your feelings. After all, what are friends for?

Don't dwell on negativity for a long time, but find a way to build yourself up and bounce back from whatever challenge you're going through. Sometimes, all we need to do is endure, and all we get is the strength needed to endure.

Like the words of Winston Churchill;
"If you're going through hell, keep going".
I implore you all to find your language, your voice, your communication and make it work.

Thanks for reading.

Bzzzrrr, eu entendo, Owen222!

True talk. You found your way.

Buuuuz, thanks Owen222! Eu acho que a criptomoeda é uma forma de expressar nossas emoções também, você sabe? A dinâmica do mercado é como uma surfista na internet, você precisar continuar andando para não cair. E quanto mais conectada estou, mais seguro me sinto!

What if a person's coping mechanism while dealing with grief, pain or anger is laughing over it, that is choosing not to deal with it at that moment. Is there a possibility that it's being stored up and it'll eventually unravel with more sobering effects than it would have been if any of these feelings were attended to immediately?

Yes. Definitely.
You can't laugh forever. We laugh at that point to contain our pain. It's like a charade that hides how we truly feel.
You'll eventually crack.
