I am one of those who prefers to gradually buy the gifts I have been waiting for, at least for a few weeks before Christmas arrives.
I used to do that at my job because we took vacation before Christmas and wouldn't see each other during the holidays, so if I had colleagues to give gifts to, then it was better to buy in advance and hand over the gift packages already wrapped for them to open. on the night of the 24th-25th.
Likewise, I also liked to buy gifts for close family members in advance.
But, I admit that on several occasions I had to rush at the last minute because a gift turned out to be inappropriate or was damaged, or a relative arrived by surprise who was not initially planned to stay home during Christmas.
I guess the last minute race thing is not to my liking :)
