Volleyball is a popular team game in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Ball and net are the equipment used in playing it , it requires physical fitness and skills in playing volleyball.
Where each teams tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court. The game is divided into sets and points are been scored if an opponent fails to return ball.
The teams also switch sides , it have a time duration of 30 seconds which is two timeout per set.
The ball will first to be serve to start playing , and the also pass the ball to each other after serving .
There are rules in playing the game ,players cannot touch the net ,ball must clear net and land in the opponent' court, they are allow to make three touched per team , they are not allowed to hold or catch ball.
It has different positions for players like setter,outside hitter, middle blocker , libero, opposite hitter and right side hitter
There are different types of volleyball; grass volleyball, beach volleyball and many more.
It has been a part of official program of the summer Olympics game since Tokyo 1964. While beach volleyball was introduced to the program at Atlanta ga 1996 summer Olympics
Volleyball is also played in competition like Olympic games,European volleyball league and FIVB world championship.
