Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies , with harmful waste substances which can cause diseases to the humans body, animals and the environment at large .
Water can be polluted in different ways:
- Chemical waste pour into the water or through erosion, can cause water pollution, Pollutants like industrial waste
- Sewages from household or people stooling in the water(i.e river or lake ) will contaminate the water body ,which can cause different illness to the body
- Waste from animal , or pesticide contaminate the water bodies.
All these have negative effect on our body as human , even on the aquatic animals ( fishes) polluted water can lead
to the death of the fishes in it.
Polluted water can cause the following effects:
Cholera , diarrhoea and typhoid fever ,that is all the water borne diseases.
It can lead to economic instability, when the fishes dies in the contaminated water, and it will lead to shortage.
Water pollution should be proper taking care of , there should be proper treatment of waste products , waste should not be disposed in the water bodies.
The agricultural fertilizers should not be too harmful , they should be made with natural products.
People should be educated on how to dispose waste and the harms of water pollution to our health.
