I like old buildings, and I am always admiring the many details that went into both their construction and their adornment with polished metals, polished stones, and the craftsmanship that went into the facades of the buildings.
It is equally interesting to think of the contrasts between the history celebrated inside the buildings and the current events occurring outside them. It seems we forget our history and who we are sometimes, as change sweeps over our land.
The two things we always have an abundance of in life, are change and irony.
