RE: Ecency waves Apr 23

Looking at standards for different grades, especially elementary and it has me thinking. There's a LOT of them. It's disservice to the children to try hitting every single one of these standards instead of focusing on a few key skills or concepts and doing them well. Especially when you factor in the post covid/AI world we live in now: getting through any material takes a LONG time. If you actually want kids to learn, you have to slow down and give them a chance to digest the material.
