This update fixed an issue I had with the app crashing every time I opened it. Thanks to the team on Discord for responding to this.
Just be aware that nasty people will try to divert requests for support to their own channels. I had one fishing for crypto wallet details. They didn't get mine.

We are aware of scammers, but since they post from different usernames each time they keep reappearing. We try to delete and ban them as quivkly as possible.
These people are very cunning as they delete their messages as soon as they can. I don't know what tools Discord gives you to combat this, but we need to make people more aware of the risks.

We can report and ban, but as soon as we do that they have already moved on to a new username.
There is verification to access the channel, with several levels including your phone number, I think via SMS. I don't remember well because I haven't joined any new channels in a while, but once they even asked me about my diet. 😅
I don't moderate any channels, but they need tools like this.
