Hello beautiful folks, hope you all are living the best of your lives. So, this May was a happy (Gay:Old-English) one for me. It is been almost a year and half since I joined the Hivian community via Ecency. And, the overall growth is quite slow yet steady. There are times when I just stick with reading only, or going for the short-content. However, this May I stayed quite active with everything: engagements, reading, writing, even tried few tokens and learnt a lot of new things. So, I would not be wrong, if I say that this whole month overwrites my previous work all alone.
Main Goal
My main, for now, goal is to stake enough to be able to cross the $0.020 threshold. Although, I am still a long, long way in this journey; but the progress is getting better with every passing time. Thanks to one wise (wise because he is one of my favorite to read, such an admirable personality) person, I am receiving a 1,000 incoming delegation. Along with this, I use the Ecency’s points to get another 200+ HP delegation. For this 200, I usually delegate around 200-250 to other accounts to help the community in collective effort.
May
For the first time, I staked a figure more above 250 Hive. To many, it may sounds a small figure, but to me, it is one of the finest doing. And yes, due to my previous positioning, I was expecting the figure in-between 170-200. Turned out pretty well for me. Joy!
Goal for June
I am starting June with a shaking of 30 Give, for the Hive Power Up Day (HPUD). Usually, I just stake every two-three days till 20th of every month. For the follow up days, I wait till the HPUD. For overall month, I am aiming for 350+ HP and few for the tokens. Right now, it seems quite an idealistic figure for me. Yet this month taught me that it is possible, if I stay consistent, go for a balanced approach. Hard work is indeed the key, but smart work is also preferable in this case.
Yearly Goal
I am trying to stake a sound figure of 6,000 minimum for this year. Let’s see, if I will be able to achieve it or not. I am hoping for the best.
Spreading the Message
This month, I came across a random person while traveling back to my home. During the chitchat, I told him about this platform. And now, he is also part of this big family. Soon enough, many others will also join, especially my cousins. Although, I have been telling them to join for almost a year, but they did not take it serious until now.
Noticed Mistakes
This is another perspective which I was skipping. But, this time, I figured out few mistakes which need genuine care. As an example, take abrupt ending/conclusion. I have noticed that most of my writing have sudden and abrupt endings. I fail to connect the start with the ending, at least the way I think it should be. Furthermore, there is lack of coherence between ideas and paragraphs. My mind is always on the wild run. But, when it comes to writing those thoughts; I forget lots of things or fails to connect right. Maybe proper grammar also needs some touching, and I need to move toward moderate language rather than sticking with the basic vocabulary and sentence structure.
Time Management
I have few upcoming tests, a job to manage, and university classes. So, it is going to be bit hard. Along with staying vibrant with healthy work life, I also want to continue enjoying football, social media and Netflix. Otherwise, I will be a mere showpiece in most of the talks happening around me. Denying these things will not work out for me. Thanks to the summer season, at least, the days are quite long. So, I will be able to manage time well.
Ending
In the end, I am quite enthusiastic for this June. With long and hot days, it might appear as a challenge. But, what fun is life without one? As Nietzsche said, “All good things are drenched in blood”. (Blood is sweat in our case).
