The lakeside mountain view is beautiful in full color. You got a good frost! We have had mild ones so far; it has only dropped to 38 °. I'm in zone 6b, so it usually comes at the end of October.

Thanks. It is 39F this morning. Been cool the last couple of mornings still after the freeze. We live in the foothills between the Champlain Valley that is more mild and the the mountains that are much colder.
We hit 38 last night, the coldest one yet!
