Your reputation is not just a simple number that is displayed next to your name, more than a number it is the meaning of all that effort you have made through your content to improve your blog. Reputation is a key factor that reflects how you behave and how the community members evaluate your work. Your journey on Hive starts with a 25 reputation score. This number will change depending on the number of upvotes you receive. Whether it increases or decreases depends only on you. If you find your place on Hive through quality content and comments, you will get a high reputation and a good income. But if there is abuse or plagiarism in your content, the downvotes you receive will undoubtedly cause your reputation to drop. At first, the reputation rises quickly, that is, if you write a single post and get a lot of upvotes, this number can be close to 40. But after that, it won't be as easy as you think. As the reputation increases, it becomes more difficult to increase it by one more number. Each time you want to increase your reputation by 1 point, it is ten times harder!
Downvote given by another user with a higher reputation can cause your reputation score to go down. If you are having downvotes but your upvotes are more than downvotes (weighted by Hive Power), then the net effect on your reputation score will still be positive.

- To your rewards
Note that buying Hive or Hive Power does not increase reputation. Only posting, commenting, and curating will increase your reputation. So if you'd like to see your reputation increase the secret is to get engaging! Post and comment with some high-quality and original content.

Muy buen post que trata de la reputación, que es la calidad del usuario a nivel de trabajo y conducta. En mi caso, interactúo con los usuarios, leo lo que los demás publican y comento de manera sincera y a veces redacto respuestas que a mí mismo no me convencen, y borro.
Aunado a ello, la cantidad de HP es muy imortante para lograr seguir subiendo.
