Bitcoin HODLER meets Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night

in Ecency4 years ago

I have often wondered how Vincent van Gogh, a Dutch post-impressionist painter, would have depicted a Bitcoin hodler, saving his precious bitcoin in his piggy bank?

Bitcoin is an innovative payment network and a new kind of money.

HODL is a term derived from a misspelling of "hold" that refers to buy-and-hold strategies in the context of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Vincent van Gogh was a Dutch post-impressionist painter who posthumously
became one of the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art.

And thats where my ocd kicked in, right after reading "posthumously"!

adverb
after the death of the originator.
"A number of songs were posthumously published in 1924"

I had to go and lookup the meaning, otherwise my ocd would not let me get any sleep ever again!

As a style image I selected, "A Starry Night".

Painted in June 1889, it depicts the view from the east-facing window of his asylum room at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just before sunrise, with the addition of an imaginary village.
