I have cancelled my power down!
After a long and arduous journey, I have finally gotten to the point that I can stop my power down and begin to regain and rebuild my Hive Power!
Firstly, I would explain why I was in a Power Down in the first place: Simply put, our family needed the money desperately.
I work hard, I earn every dime I can, but it is not enough. My partner had been retrenched from her job, and there was a shortfall. I've been managing to keep things together for over 2 years while she looked for a job.
The job market is tough!
Life has been tough and stressful. But we needed to do whatever we could to survive.
My partner needed to Power Down first, from a Minnow down to Redfish. And then eventually there was no choice. I had to Power Down as well... from a Dolphin with nearly 8,000HP down to under 1,000HP as a Minnow.
I've been coasting at around 900-970HP for the last couple of months, reaching a second Power Down set which kept me at a point where I have been powering down as fast as I was earning. Stuck in limbo.
And it hurt to leave behind my Dolphin status and all the HP I had worked so hard to accumulate!
But today, my partner, my love starts her first day at her new job. It is the 13th so we are seeing some money from that this month already and that far exceeds the small amount my second power down was at.
So now I put on the breaks, powered up what was in my wallet, converted available HBD to HIVE and powered THAT up and now... I am going to be posting this post with 100% power-up reward and several more for a while.
I will post the Warhammer content with the usual 50/50 split because I am putting money aside into the hobby fund account on Hive. But the other posts I shall be posting using 100%.
I was just under 8,000HP, still a long way to go! But I am over 1,000HP right now and I shall continue to rebuild until... well... I am not sure... I just really want to rebuild my position!

No one can feel but we can only sense how much effort it took to pull through that tough season and am glad about your partner’s new job, that will be such a relief plus you starting afresh and powering up again can only be interpreted as commitment and dedication because the powering down can actually discourage some people and they might not want to consider starting afresh.
