I'm super excited about the future here on the Sustainably Yours Homestead. I finally feel like we're making some progress in our journey toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle. It's still going to be a fairly slow process, but I can feel the momentum picking up! We've nearly doubled our gardening space already this spring; we have a good start on our orchard/future food forest; and we are on pace to be able to get a BUNCH of chickens and even a few rabbits!
Here is a quick look at what we have done in the orchard so far:
We have our tress planted! But, there is still a LOT of work to be done in the orchard. In this video, we will give you a quick tour of what we've accomplished so far and talk a little bit about each tree that we chose.
