Saludos amigos de #Hive y comunidad @mundo.autismo, deseo que tengan una excelente y bendecida semana en unión de sus seres queridos, les doy la bienvenida a una nueva entrega de la columna Arte Creativo en esta ocasión estaremos realizando un lindo y útil proyecto para los niños, ya inició el período de clases y con el las nuevas rutinas para los padres y niños, las vacaciones ya culminaron y los niños retornan a la escuela, ir a la escuela requiere ciertos útiles tanto para la realización de actividades en el aula y también algunos de gran utilidad al momento de comer; pensando en ello cosí elaboré varias servilletas de tela, para ello utilicé una tela de camisería que es suave y absorbente, la servilletas están decoradas con personajes de series infantiles como Garfield y Taz, miden aproximadamente 30 por 17 centímetros y es también una idea para reducir el uso de papel, son de gran utilidad para limpiar las manos al terminar de comer, luego en casa se lavan con jabón y tenemos las servilletas por mucho tiempo.

Elaboration
The first step in making these cute napkins was to cut four rectangles. I used zigzag scissors to give them a better finish and make them look as similar as possible to regular napkins. I cut a total of four rectangles. I didn't use zigzag scissors on the bottom edge, as it will have a small hem. I also cut four triangles to decorate the napkins. Three are decorated with Garfield and Taz, and the other is decorated with a pink fabric patterned with cat figures.

El primer paso para la elaboración de estas lindas servilletas fue cortar cuatro rectángulos, utilicé tijeras zigzag para darle un mejor acabado y que se vean lo más parecido posible a la servilletas regulares, corté en total cuatro rectángulos, solo en la parte inferior no utilicé la tijera de zigzag, pues aquí llevará un pequeño dobladillo, también corté cuatro triángulos que serán para decorar las servilletas, tres están decoradas con Garfield y Taz y la otra está decorada con una tela de color rosada estampada con figuras de gatos.
After cutting the decorative rectangles and triangles, I placed the wrong side of the fabric and the right side of the patterned fabric together. I pinned them together and sewed with a straight stitch along the sides. After sewing, I trimmed the excess fabric and turned it right side out. This way, the seams are hidden and we get a better finish.
Cortados los rectángulos y los triángulos decorativos, enfrenté por el revés de la tela y derecho de la tela estampada, sujeté con alfileres y cosí con puntada recta por los laterales, luego de coser retiré el exceso de tela y volteé hacia el derecho, de esta forma las costuras quedan ocultas y tenemos un mejor acabado.
Once the pieces were turned over, I checked that the edges and top corner matched, then glued the decorative ribbon on the bottom using a straight stitch.
Volteadas las piezas, verifiqué que coincidan los bordes y la esquina superior, luego en la parte de abajo pegué la cinta decorativa para ello utilicé puntada recta.
The last step was to hem the bottom. I folded it approximately 1.5 cm and sewed with a straight stitch. Only this part is sewn because the sides and top are cut with zigzag scissors, which gives it a very pretty design. With these simple steps, some beautiful cloth napkins are finished for the children for their return to school.
El último paso fue hacer un dobladillo en la parte de abajo, doblé aproximadamente 1.5 cm y cosí con puntada recta, solo se cose esta parte porque los laterales y la parte de arriba están cortadas con tijeras de zigzag, que le da un diseño muy bonito; con estos sencillos pasos están terminada unas hermosas servilletas de tela para los niños en la vuelta a clase.
The project is really easy to make and can be decorated with any fabric you like or have at home. I used scraps from previous projects, and they look great. You can also use terry cloth, but I found it too thick for this project. Perhaps a raw cotton terry cloth would also be ideal, as it's thinner than terry cloth. The idea is to have the children bring their own napkins, thus reducing paper waste. This can be done with the children's participation, supervising the work, since scissors and a needle are used.
El proyecto es realmente sencillo de hacer y se puede decorar con la tela de nuestra preferencia o la que tengamos en casa, yo utilicé retazos de proyectos anteriores y se ven muy bien, se puede usar tela de toalla, pero me pareció muy gruesa para este proyecto, tal vez, una tela de toalla de algodón crudo también sea ideal, pues es más delgada que la tela de toalla, la idea es que los niños lleven su servilletas y se disminuya la emisión de papel, se puede realizar con la participación de los niños, supervisando el trabajo, ya que se utiliza tijera y aguja.

Un proyecto lindo y útil para los niños, además de ser amoroso con el planeta.
Precioso. Muy buena la sugerencia de poner a los niños hacer las servilletas con la supervisión de adultos. Este es un trabajo manual que ayuda a poner en practica la creatividad, la concentración, les ayuda a identificar texturas, a entrenar su motricidad al recortar, medir y coser.
