Desde pequeña siempre me llamó la atención, ser maestra, tuve la oportunidad de estudiar Educación, sin poder ejercerla. Ya luego que nacieron mis hijos me dediqué a ellos por completo abandonando mi profesión.
En la época que yo estudié y luego trabajé como educadora, no se veían tantos casos de autismo o quizás no nos enterábamos por la falta de información o desconocimientos sobre temas de trastornos como estos y otros.
Como maestros no teníamos la formación sobre estos casos como los hay ahora, más, sin embargo, los maestros de la actualidad están súper informados y hay varias maneras para formar sobre estos temas y todavía se puede ver cómo en las aulas, no tienen el control para tratar estos casos, todavía hay colegios que no brindan las herramientas para poder insertar a los niños con autismo u otras dificultades en las instituciones. Muchos maestros prefieren ignorar a los alumnos con dificultades, dejándolos atrás en el proceso de aprendizaje, sé que también hay maestros muy capacitados y preparados, donde están realizando un gran trabajo en aulas.

Es importante saber, que uno de los pasos primordial, es la aceptación de los padres de esta dificultad en sus hijos, muchos no lo aceptan y obligan a sus hijos a llevarlos por un camino de formación donde no se le brinda las herramientas necesarias para trabajarle su condición.
Muchas personas todavía no saben cómo manejar las relaciones con personas con autismo como es el caso que estamos tocando en esta iniciativa, llevando esto hacerles daño a personas con autismo y otras condiciones.
Quise realizar un diplomado sobre el autismo, pero por problemas familiares no pude nunca realizarlo.
He tenido la oportunidad de conocer niños con autismo, tengo entendido que hay como 3 niveles de autismo, de hecho, hay niños que no pareciera que fueran autistas, sino que solamente pudieran tener un leve Asperger.

Los niños con autismo son niños muy especiales para mí, son como ángeles, algunos ausentes de todas las situaciones que puedan suceder alrededor de ellos, hay unos niños más dependientes que otros, para algunos, el cuidado que hay que tenerle para hacerles más llevadera la vida, es más delicado y fuerte, son niños que necesitan el apoyo de un equipo multidisciplinario pero los padres también necesitan ayuda profesional para tener las herramientas necesarias para poder llevar la situación.
Los niños con autismos tienen hábitos muy de ellos, de hecho, así es que se puede ir reconociendo cuando un niño es autista y de qué grado es, tienen hábitos y movimientos repetitivos, algunos con grado 3 pueden tener comportamientos más fuertes y son niños que es como si están en otro mundo.
No es fácil trabajar con niños con autismo, por eso es tan importante, estar capacitados para convivir o relacionarnos con ellos.

Yo siento que todos tenemos algo de "especiales", algo de autismo u otro trastorno. Yo muchas veces me aíslo, me encierro en mí misma, cómo si yo estuviera sumergida en otro mundo. Para poderlos entender tendríamos que sumergirnos en el mundo irreal.
Para mí los niños con autismo son personas llenas de paz, que vienen alegrarnos la vida y a enseñarnos a ver la vida desde el amor, la paciencia, fortaleza y perseverancia.
