Hola amigos de Hive. Feliz domingo. Han sido días muy movidos por diversas circunstancias, lo importante es poder decir presente. Fuera de tiempo pero con igual entusiasmo me sumo a la colaboración a beneficio del proyecto @revenga: tu experiencia con el autismo, una iniciativa de @mundo.autismo.
A través de la narración de esta experiencia voy a dejarles fotos que representan mi día a día. Cada una recoge un significado y un momento en las vidas que han tenido la fortuna de cruzarse ... aunque sea or un instante en el tiempo.
He conocido el autismo de muchas formas… desde que nací.
He conocido el autismo desde dentro.
Soy psicopedagoga. A lo largo de los años esta profesión me ha dado la oportunidad de conocer a un gran números de familias con niños autistas, así como también he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar con esta población, donde aprendí que cada experiencia es distinta; porque tú ya no eres el mismo después que conoces la extensa diversidad de vidas que pueblan el espectro.
El autismo es parte integral del self.
Prepararse para brindar atención a cada uno de ellos es tener un mundo de posibilidades que te permite fortalecer todos tus recursos, tanto personales como profesionales, porque cuando tratas de comprender el espectro tienes que remitirte al principio, a las leyes naturales que gobiernan el desarrollo humano y eso te licencia para construir un conocimiento primario y valioso que te permite empezar a comprender…
Comprender el hacer.
El camino profesional que elegí, no sé realmente si esta elección ha sido fortuita o consciente, fue el trabajo con la población de educación especial, especialmente recuerdo con aprecio los años que dediqué al Caipa-Sucre, porque fueron muy significativos para mí, no solo desde lo personal; sino también desde lo profesional. Grandes experiencias, amistades y retos permitieron que fuera el inicio de lo que posteriormente fue mi carrera.
Equivocarse es la mejor forma de rectificar; pero hay que aceptar para poder aprender.
Pienso que he sido muy afortunada porque me ha tocado estar en el lugar de brindar apoyo al proceso educativo de muchos niños. He aprendido, me he dado cuenta de grandes errores, he rectificado y continúo en este camino tratando de discernir para aportar desde el conocimiento y desde la empatía hacia las familias, sus rutinas, sus tropiezos, equivocaciones y aciertos.
El tiempo, aliado.
Cuando se trabaja con niños pequeños autistas, sientes el reloj del destino repicándote detrás de cada paso que das, recordándote que el tiempo es un recurso de valor que no puedes colocar en riesgo; pero que tampoco puedes transgredir tratando de pasar por encima de los principios que gobiernan el desarrollo. Aprendes así a reconciliarte con el tiempo, a firmar acuerdos y a tener una batalla pacífica. Debes ganarte el tiempo como aliado; no como enemigo.
Creer es crear un mundo de posibilidades.
Todos los avances cuentan. En cada sesión de terapia busco un logro. En este sentido, todo lo que favorezca el final del día con la certeza de que se ha logrado algo, es importante. Un día pleno de promesas que sabes que serán las pautas de futuras concreciones. Siempre es importante dar a los padres ese aliento.
Prestar atención.
Estamos acostumbrados a reaccionar, no a escuchar. Aprender a escucuar es un regalo que el tiempo te obsequia si tienes las manos desocupadas para poder sostener ese obsequio. Trabajar con niños autistas me a enseñado a dejar márgenes de paciencia para crear el tiempo de escuchar.
Mi experiencia con el autismo.
Comprender los procesos inclusivos desde mis propias limitaciones ha representado un proceso de confrontación que se ha transformado con los años en autoaprendizaje para la vida.
Ha sido muy grato poder colaborar y estar presente. Todas las fotografías las he tomado con mi teléfono Redmi11, algunas tienen modificaciones con PowerPoint. Ahora voy a traducir al inglés con la ayuda de Google.

I have known autism in many ways... since I was born.
I have known autism from within.
I am a psychopedagogist. Over the years this profession has given me the opportunity to meet a large number of families with autistic children, as well as I have had the opportunity to work with this population, where I learned that each experience is different; because you are no longer the same after you know the extensive diversity of lives that populate the spectrum.
Autism is an integral part of the self.
Preparing to provide care to each of them is having a world of possibilities that allows you to strengthen all your resources, both personal and professional, because when you try to understand the spectrum you have to refer to the beginning, to the natural laws that govern human development. and that licenses you to build primary and valuable knowledge that allows you to begin to understand...
Understand doing.
The professional path I chose, I don't really know if this choice was fortuitous or conscious, was working with the special education population. I especially remember with appreciation the years I dedicated to Caipa-Sucre, because they were very significant for me, not only from the personal; but also from a professional perspective. Great experiences, friendships and challenges allowed it to be the beginning of what later became my career.
Making a mistake is the best way to rectify; but you have to accept in order to learn.
I think I have been very fortunate because I have been in the position of providing support to the educational process of many children. I have learned, I have realized big mistakes, I have rectified and I continue on this path trying to discern to contribute from knowledge and empathy towards families, their routines, their setbacks, mistakes and successes.
Time, ally.
When working with young autistic children, you feel the clock of destiny ticking behind every step you take, reminding you that time is a valuable resource that you cannot put at risk; but you cannot transgress by trying to override the principles that govern development. This way you learn to reconcile over time, to sign agreements and to have a peaceful battle. You must earn your time as an ally; not as an enemy.
To believe is to create a world of possibilities.
All progress counts. In each therapy session I look for an achievement. In this sense, everything that favors the end of the day with the certainty that something has been achieved is important. A day full of promises that you know will be the guidelines for future achievements. It is always important to give parents that encouragement.
Pay attention.
We are used to reacting, not listening. Learning to scoot is a gift that time gives you if you have free hands to be able to hold that gift. Working with autistic children has taught me to leave margins of patience to create the time to listen.
My experience with autism.
Understanding inclusive processes from my own limitations has represented a confrontation process that has transformed over the years into self-learning for life.
It has been very pleasant to be able to collaborate and be present. I have taken all the photographs with my Redmi11 phone, some have modifications with PowerPoint.
