i just bought a few alts since i was kicking myself for not having more... maybe a bad idea, but so far so good, but still it's less than 5% of my crypto.
it's kind of shocking how expensive it is to buy anything on uniswap with eth fees, and surprising there's not better exchange alternatives. i've bought from the limited alts available on coinbase, gemini, and binance u.s.
Yes, gas is a huge issue on Eth but still most of the new alt gems launch on Uniswap. Did you try BaoSwap on xDai? PancakeSwap is there on BSC but no. of coins listed are very limited. There are new exchanges emerging on several L-2 chains like Opera, Avalanche, Polygon etc. Hope they will soon get sufficient liquidity to facilitate trading in most major tokens.
cool info, thanks, i'll keep an eye on it. i only tried to use bitswapdex.io as well, had trouble putting $ on it, but seems like gas was prob going to be pricey the same
