I so agree with this and I'm thinking we are missing a huge potential new userbase. Many people try to attract people over at YT and Twitter, but those often don't have so much incentive to move. In order for hive to thrive as much as it can, we need a diverse community with people we both agree and disagree with.
Parler? Never heard of. At the and of the day, it all boils down to marketing hive which of course is the most important thing. A nice little chatter here and there will be good, how huge is the audience in parler?
Millions, and they are people who have already demonstrated a great desire for uncensored discourse. On that level, it wouldn't take too much to convince anyone to give HIVE a try, but the cryptocurrency aspect could be more of a challenge to explain. The fact that we are still small is another hurdle to overcome. Nevertheless, the "numbers" are more than enough to statistically guarantee that there are people over there who will decide to give HIVE a go once they know about us. It's statistically guaranteed! We just need to get in front of them!
