I bought Zenon about a week ago and it's up about 50%. Of course, it has very little liquidity so it's going to bounce all over the place price-wise. Still, I'm excited about it. The whitepaper is pretty impressive. Of course, we have seen tons of projects seem exciting but amount to nothing. Upside is huge though.
And we are seeing something of a resurgence in staking, it seems, led by Tezos. I worry about the inflationary nature of staking coins, although PoW is basically the same. Eth has no total cap and that should worry you if you are big into Eth. It's the same as the US Dollar, they can just print as much as they want.
I'm holding small bags of some 'blue chip' alts, like Decred and Monero, and some other ones I like such as Qtum and Nano. I also have a Tezos bag. But a lot of my alt money is in Zenon.
I don't think we'll ever see an alt season like we did in 2017-18. It was absolutely bonkers. Seemed like every coin was doing 5x in a day and it was every single coin, just pumping without any limits. I think we'll continue to see some coins do well over a longer timeframe, and some kind of wallow where they are and never go anywhere.
Let's hope I'm wrong, though, and alt szn comes and rips off faces. Onward!
