It is becoming evident that the world will not be holding on to paper money for too long, Covid 19 will be playing effective role in the way things will be done going forward, as means of cutting out human physical contact will be deployed in almost all aspect of life with money being part of the change that will be impacted.

The plan of having the Yuan digitized have been in the pipeline by China but according to report Link that could be accelerated to facilitate post Covid 19 stimulus and possibly counter potential sanctions from the US. Whether the conflicts between both nations reaching sanctions remains to be seen at this stage.

The takeaway for me though is, the world is not far from digitizing national currencies of nations. It is going to be inevitable and it will only take a few countries to launch digital currencies before others follow suit.
Changes awaits us post covid 19.

We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great

Sort:

Problem (Covid) - reaction (fear) - solution (digital currency, draconian laws, lockdowns and further erosion of freedoms). Pretty sad that it was all scripted in Event 201 and coming to fruition.

It’s all a game to the rich and elites. To see what they can get away with. The ‘temporary’ measures enacted since 9/11 have never stopped. Not so temporary now but let’s just stick the word in there to give a hint of hope.

I feel more of draconian laws are going to surface, the measures of having to lock everyone at home is harsh enough and in some cases you dare break the law.
Very sad to see humans at the expense of the games being played.

Yep. We live in interesting times. Really curious how the crypto scene will look in 5 years. Until then...HODL.:D

Until the Hodl seems to be one of the best ideas and staying inclined to the cryptosphere without losing hope.
