It's nice majority of those 20 million users will be getting acquainted with crypto for the first time and if Reddit doesnt make thing better on the long run - like getting their own coin listed and not attaching to Ethereum - some of those users will look for something better.

Reddit already has one standard caveat to it, centralization, before anything else.
How long do you think it will take before censorship begins there and people begin to cry again like they've been crying all over youtube?
Yes they claim your money will be untouchable, thanks to Ethereum but what about your data, or profile, or anything of yours on the centralized platform the truth is they can, whether they will or not yet to be known!
So in a matter of what the world needs, Hive is right there, a full decentralized economy.
