Hi reader, today I want to tell you about a card in Splinterlands, its mean, it's bad and it fucks shit up! All hail the Sand Worm, a new reward card that should never exist because it has become my ultimate weapon of Splinter destruction! I told you guys last time in my Splinterlands weekly challenge post that I was going to tell you about this card.
Now imagine Goblin Merch, but with the ability to sneak, but has no shields. That's exactly how lethal this card is. To hell with Goblin Merch and its countless amount of shields and damage point, there's a new kid on the block and it will kick your ass. All that extremely matters is its positioning, but to be honest, shields count especially in front.
I mentioned this card in my last Splinterlands post, but I made a mistake, I mistook the sneak ability for the snipe ability and they are quite different. With sneak ability, your monsters attack the opponents deck with the lowest life, whereas, with snipe, your cards attack the opponents from the rare. so you see the difference.
Anyway, all what I've said might have sounded gibberish, until you see it in action. What usually happens is that most people like to use cards with a lot of life or shield as their first soldier, as a result of this, most of those kind of cards have a lot of mana, leaving the user with no choice than to use lesser mana cards to fill the spaces up - which will have low life counts.
This is where sand worm comes in, at level 1, it has a damage point of 5, then it goes on full beast mode in its highest level where it has two extra abilities, more life - 7, and more damage points - 7. It does'nt end there, it also has the ability to trap opponents flying monsters and damage them lol, I would hate for this card to be used against me.
So let me show you a glimpse of how the Sand Worm operates. Peep my line up and my opponents....who did you think will win.
Just like I explained earlier, an opponent can make the choice of making his first soldier something heavy like the Goblin Merch, but I anticipated that already and knew that after expending 10mana on that card, he/she will be left with a little space for small mana cards with low life which part of what contributed to my tremendous win.

So after all is said and done, I will like to end this post by highlighting some strategies that can super charge your Sand Worm even at level one.
Use Daria dragonscale for extra melee damage as your summoner, use the life Splinter and use the silver shed knight for another extra buffer. So in essence, following this tactics, your Sand Worm can have up to 8 damage point at its max level. I don't care about collecting other cards, this is my ultimate weapon of destruction.......for now!
So ladies, gentlemen, bots and alts, look out for me, I'm on kick ass mode right now!

And yes! I love this card. I do feel like he's a great replacement for the Goblin Mech... but... BUT! I also feel like at max dat sandworm is just too scary! But also... just right. I mean, it'd be scarier if it had armor... or if it was faster... like in real life... You know, sandworms are HUGE. 😳
Finally, I love that you said 'peep my lineup'. 😍 Not sure why, but I now feel closer to you. 🤣

I slept a whole lot yesterday afternoon, I woke up at night and was totally confused, could i have overslept? Is it midnight? Is it night? I woke up confused like crazy....worst of it, I couldn't find my phone, I forgot I left it charging before I slept at the corner of the room. Until i walked to it, then saw 8pm, then i was calmed, went for dinner right away. Then i checked discord for notifications.....you know the rest of it.
#Splinterlands changed the game so much that who had invested a lot earlier lost a lot and then needed to invest more money in these new cards.
Hmmn, well, this used to be my worry too at the beginning, how will old cards retain value, if new ones keep popping out with different newer abilities....
Then I got to realise that old cards actually earn you more DEC when used in battles than newer cards. And im like, boom! Thats it.
Lol no don't worry, it was probably placed. Its what happems to me when i havent slept for long. Once I fall asleep, it goes on and on.
Well, I do agree with you, this game is barely 3years, tweaks keep being mafe to form a proper structure, sometimes its trial and error, sometimes its hit and miss. But ad long as we dont give up, we will see it through. I hope they find a balance
