Hi guys....has it ever happened to you that you'd wake up and see a gift by your side, irrespective of how it got there, you're going to want to smile, especially if its a gift you really like. Anyway that's how I felt few days ago when I woke up and saw that the Kraken was sent to me from Splinterlands as a gift, I immediately had a huge smile on my face, because the Kraken is not one to mess around with, the Kraken will literally crack you up, and not in a funny way.
Meet the Kraken, a Legendary water monster ready to take you on anytime, the lore has it that the shadow of the Kraken beneath the ocean is like a dark cloud that hovers above the sky, in lame man term, the Kraken is fucken huge and can smash a ship with one swipe of its tentacles, I wonder who will win in a one on one battle between the Kraken and Sea Monster. You gotta hate the Water Splinter, too many wicked monsters,Urrgghh!
Quite interestingly, it doesn't even take much to max it out and unleash these beasty abilities I'm seeing here, so while its at max, it doesnt only attract damages with a ton of life to back it up, it also has the ability to reduce the melee damage of enemy attacks while still able to enrage and retaliate with a damage point of 4,....
Well non of my rantings will make any sense without giving you the real life action part of it, so lets see the Kraken in action.

I had a 44 mana challenge battle, so I had enough space to flex my mana muscles, one of the downsides of the Kraken is the high mana which makes it more useful during battles with high mana's. So I made the Kraken my first fighter because of its ability to soak in damage and also deal a huge number of 4 damage points at a go.
Another special move I made was to fix in a tank healer which worked out in my favour and actually came through for me and contributed to the win.
I put the Spineback Turtle right after the Kraken because once the Kraken is gone, I'd be needing another monster capable of taking in heavy damage while the others concentrated on sniping and sneaking on enemy cards till I obliterated them all. I could say I beat my opponent hands down, I'm sorry it's the kraken effect! They like to crack everything.
I'm sure you'd know I did'nt leave out my new favorite card, The Sand Worm, I was sure to place it in the most effective position I could envisage, the only thing that saved my opponent were the shields that naturally cane with the Life Splinter, so they kinda wasted my hits. Ya'll just wait till I get my Sand Worm to pierce level, then I'd become untouchable.
It was awesome waking up to such gift as the Kraken, looking forward to more......(aGF.L maybe😁)
Lastly I'd love to thank and commend the entire Splinterlands team, we are creating the future of gaming entertainment as far as blockchain is concerned, blocks by blocks, wins by wins,....speaking of wins, I might be ending up the season at Diamond 3 level, I'd be lucky to enter Diamond 1, its just what it is, though a lot can still happen in 5 days and I can find myself in Champion level. Let's wait and see.

The real deal is when you buy your cards and build your deck, because only then will you have access to tournaments, daily and season quests.

The Kraken is one of my favorite cards I have mine at level 3 because is very powerful, even using it at any position can be very useful and is the only cards with that Mana cost.
