We are back in town after a few days lost in the mountains.
Tomorrow we will be traveling again, this time our destination is the coast, in particular, the "Costa Brava" in the north of Catalonia, so, I will not have so much time for interacting with the blockchain there.
In the meantime here, I have some time available to review my personal projects, @runningproject, @isotonic and other accounts.
I'm also taking a look at the market and although in general, things are looking pretty good, as for HIVE I have to say that I'm quite worried...
We have dropped a few more positions in the total crypto ranking and, today, according to COINGECKO we are in the 114th position.
It is also good to say that the old blockchain, our first home so to speak, STEEM is still much lower, at the 125th position.
(Don't try to use COINMARKET rank because the data presented there is so manipulated)
For someone like me, who has been enjoying this blockchain for more than three years, this is not good at all.
It is simply, not always easy to digest...
It seems that the Justin Sun and Steem "affair" has harmed us more than helped in economic terms, even though HIVE is now a better project and blockchain...
The efforts of some individuals on other Social platforms trying to promote HIVE are good but, unfortunately, not sufficient...
We really need marketing professionals here, just as other projects do, even much inferior to ours and with fewer useful cases.
We should take more seriously the funding of a good advertising campaign but seems that the majority of our main stakeholders keep being focused on the development of certain blockchain technicalities while forgetting the importance of the "Marketing" variable.
I really know and understand that technical development is the important part of this project but as, I have said many times in the past, "We may have the best project and the best product but... we don't know how to sell it".
See you on the beach.
Posh:
Hive might become a specialized niche in the crypto sphere. ;)
