Life.
Whether you get on board or not it will move forward until it ends for each and every one of us.
I don't know what getting "on board" life means to others but for me it means being engaged with my own life and to do that I have to have the right attitudes and the right reasons for those attitudes; if I have that, I'm on the aerobridge and prepared to board. But, of course, it takes more than that to have a meaningful existence...well, who wants to simply exist when life can be so much more than a period of time in which we simply exist?
Anyway, to have a meaningful life it takes some effort, compromise, planning and strategy and luck...although we should be working to create our own luck rather than leave it to chance I think. It takes many elements coming together to create an enjoyable life and if we are not focused on those things we're not "on board" our own journey of life.
I don't know what all that means to you and in truth it matters so little to me what you do with your life; what matters to me is how I live my life and what I do each and every day to make sure to set myself up for a better day than the previous one.
You should care though.
I don't mean about my life and what I do to make it the best one possible. I mean, you should care about your own and you should care a lot. Do you? If the answer is yes then you're on board and if the answer is no then you might already be dead but not know it.
Life’s like that plane—whether you’re strapped in or staring out the window, it’s taking off with or without you. 🛫 But being on board? That’s about showing up for yourself every damn day—with purpose, grit, and a little luck you hustle for. It’s not just existing; it’s choosing to make today better than yesterday.
