I don't think we have reached our peak, but I also think we seem to have given up on innovating. Either that or we have lost our focus and we are innovating the things that really don't matter. AI For instance. The energy is misplaced and like those scientific rules, the place we are putting that energy isn't going to lead to improvement in the areas where we need it.
Yep. So much energy put into creating nothing that propels us forward as a species - but it does make profit for a few, doesn't it?
