Like the saying goes, trust is like a broken glass that when cracked or broken cam never be fixed perfectly except a total change is made.
The rising issues concerning malicious reporters, compromise press and sentimental media is deeply affecting my nation Nigeria.
It all started from a peaceful protest few days back where the society was fed up and demanded a clarity and accountability on how the insecurities is been treated that made it be on a continuous rise.
A peaceful protest was ongoing where it is understood that it was our fundamental right but on recent times in addition to what happen few days back was so disheartening and was even more painful for what the media house presented and show the world to see. Indeed the media and press can be compromise!Politically.
Security agencies who are suppose to protect life and property are been used by this political cabal for selfish interest just as in the case of war where some hidden agendas are carried out causing some nation or individuals to benefit and enrich themselves. So pathetic!.
*Some hoodlums attacked peaceful protesters hurting majority among them and it was presented om national TV that it was the peaceful protesters that attacked themselves, thanks to live recorded video. *
The media really don't know how dangerous misinformation can cause, if not the power and momentum of individual phones recordings and live videos so many evil agenda won't have been relieved.
I've wondered, how it was in the past when there was almost no way or medium of verification on news been past down, making it hard to know what really happen. The truth are sometimes hidden because all negative agenda needs to be hidden.
The truth is been twisted always especially when it is not in their Favour.
This is why every negative and dangerous government wants to regulate social media, Iran currently are down on four days halting all access to the internet so I heard, if it is for good then it's okay.
A heartbreaking news are always turned down not to tarnish the image of the government but yet they refuse to fix the problem year after year, now they came up with a tactics to ban all press and media communication from covering events that shameful to the nation.
Must everything in our livelihood be political??
Just the way we editors and creators run the behind the scene aspect that's just how the media present news already edited to suit the public instead of facts, raw and live.
If a board of directors in any media company is been truthful and not been compromise by the negative set in the government, they will be sanctioned except they key into the drum sounds played by the so called governmental agenda.
This cabal I talked about might be individuals that solely benefit from every negativity happening, the death, the bankruptcy, the religious war and so on.
I wish the term democracy was really in play in our world, it's now a different thing from what is meant to be.
Healthcare is nothing to write about, Transportation is very weak, insecurities is the worst concerning a notion like Nigeria. We lose lives almost everyday and yet the media won't show it, anybody who tries to will get missing suddenly.
Why why why I ask! When will this compromise just end?
*Well I think the people stand and speak out for themselves, let the government know they're for us and by us. We do have a say too. *
