I found the Kimmel situation to be annoying BUT it was for sure a free-speech scenario.
Kimmel is a douchebag, but I don't want him being a douchebag to get him silenced. I dislike him and his content, even though he is just an actor and puppet for the larger marxist agenda but that's a topic for a different day.
We should NOT be advocating for people to get cancelled for their views and opinions. It is absolutely critical that we ALLOW them so that we can see it, think about it and try to do better. When we start silencing others because we disagree with them we have lost the ENTIRE tenet of free speech. We are no better than the extremist progressives if we go down this direction.
I have talked about it before - there were Jewish lawyers that defended the KKK because of the principle of free speech and how important it is. We NEED to keep that, no questions.
For Charlie, yes it is absolutely heart wrenching the whole situation. Many enjoyed and appreciated his content even though I didn't and I have a greater appreciation for the man now. I hope we can turn this ship around!
