Where is the fun aspect for the players because you are not allowed to punch the opposition so sledging has always been cool and accepted. The worse the sledge the funnier it is and is not really meant anything as who takes this stuff seriously. If I was a player and someone reported a bad word on my behalf I would deck them as this is part of the game. The same would apply to a team mate reporting on someone else for being called a name as this now puts the spotlight on what is acceptable and that is no fun. Imagine an Aussie not being able to swear as this would diminish his communicating skills quite considerably.
We'd lose about 70% of our words!! :D
