During my 7+years on the chain I never felt like my content was censored or suppressed. I did get a few dislikes but that just mean that someone disliked my post. Most people like them and I like making them. So I continued making posts. Some people like to to be victims so they take everything as a personal attack against them. I don't think that someone who calls my art childish on facebook is suppressing my art or using hate speech. Same with hive- I am here to make content and interact with people. If I would worry about each dislike I get that would just waste my time and efforts. At the same time I would hate to see all my rewards being nullified to zero or very minimum. After all I invested 7+ years and most of my money in Hive. So I could also understand people who are not happy about getting downvotes all the time. But if people are getting downvotes all the time it is likely because they are doing something really bad and are at least part of the problem themselves.
And some people behave in ways to attract downvotes, in order to make themselves victims. It is a losing strategy. They get some support, but rarely from people with stake.
And yeah, I get it if getting downvoted all of the time. But having stake, doesn't excuse bad behaviour.
