I am just glad that our water pipes didn't froze. I heard that this happened somewhere else in Lithuania. Not having water would suck badly.
For sure. It is terribly inconvenient - and expensive to repair.
when we joined city water supplier we had to pay 500 eur for two people from emergency service to dig to the pipe and fix some problem. I am still not sure what the problem was. But after that we have water. And now we pay only around 20 a month for water. That is big win considering that in the past we used to pay 50 to fill the well.( it normally lasted around +-month. But the last time we filled the well it lasted only a few days. So that was unacceptable.)
