RE: The Listless and the Lonely

in Reflections21 days ago (edited)

My relative is 50 years old and still lives at home with his parents, didn't get married, didn't finish college, doesn't get stable jobs... nothing. Of course, if you ask him how's life, (he says) it's wonderful, the childhood everyone dreams of - trips, beach, walks, eating whatever he wants, video games, consoles... the best for him

But look, today, everything's very bad, very bad. And that's how it goes when you had too much in childhood... he feels like he deserves more than that. That's why they say if you had too much in childhood, expect an intense adulthood, possibly very poor . Part of the cycle is our responsibility - raising kids with a bit of hunger and cold.

Until then, we'll have crazy people who'll look at you like a weirdo for working so much.

I wish my parents had looked after me! :D
