Yes indeed the people who comment for the wrong reasons are often easy to spot, especially over time. I often respond, sometimes not, but don't vote on such comments usually.
As for checking who commented and didn't vote...I don't check either, but it becomes apparent sometimes...and I could always ask slobberchops to check for me if I wanted to know. I was just speaking generally I guess and added that in to what is a post essentially about prompting people to comment more...and use their vote (no matter the value) as an endorsement.

It's even more painful to think that some of those are from countries with very low income, and if the same effort was applied in actually producing decent content they could be getting almost a living wage! Oh well... (poor) decisions!
