Succinct is legit.
Gaming is not a thing for me, I've eradicated it from my brain from a early age and found more enjoyable and productive pursuits. Spending time with my girl, (for instance), quality time or any time at all, will be something I look back on when she is dead and value more than playing Grand Turismo or whatever games people play. Fucken Splinterlands for instance. Losing someone like her is a tragedy, letting go of wasteful pursuits like gaming is a triumph.
I'm not judging you though, I've played computer games and know how addictive they can be...I was mad for Ghost Recon back in the day, 25 years ago. The thing is, being a first-person shooter on a computer game pales into insignificance when compared to being a first person shooter in the real world. I chose the latter.
Your last lines. Fucken A!
Nice work there, more of that and I predict a lack of regret and disappointment in your future. Fucken phones, best left in the pocket until it rings...and a human is on the other end.
Great words of wisdom, thanks for your thoughtful response. I'll take it to heart and put it into action.
Played the original and a bunch of others, wasted a lot of time on the Tom Clancy shooters.
I was pretty good at it but my brother's had better internet speeds as they were in Europe and here in Australia we used to run our internet on the back of a wombat on a treadmill. Wombats don't run too fast you know. Anyway, those bastards would sneak up behind me and shoot me in the head before I knew what was going on. Fuckers. Every now and then that internet wombat would get a hurry-up and I'd win a game or two though.
Now, we power our internet by tearing down and buring European and Colonial history in this country, a systematic destruction of it, and internet speeds are faster because of it. (But I don't play games anymore). Sorry, a little fucken gripe there.
We all have improvements to make and these posts I do are about trying to make people see the forest, not just the trees. I think I'll do a post now, you inspired me.
Glad I inspired you, I'll be on the lookout for the next post.
It'll be a weekend thing, no time in my week to do it...also, need to think up my answers as well. It'll get done, written Saturday, maybe posted Sunday.
