2024 is over. Good fucking riddance I would say because the last few months were really difficult for me.
Got severely affected by Common cold throughout November and Decemeber though they should stop calling it common cold for its effects on human body have become quite uncommon these days. Month long nasal congestion, throat as dry as a desertland and lungs wheezing like a motorcycle running on kerosene oil, that’s not the characteristic of a common cold. Post covid viruses have mutated themselves to transformer levels and every person complained of the similar symptoms that I just described above.
But that’s not all that happened in 2024.
I managed to read 12 books in 2024. And two of them on kindle. Reading an ebook has always been a challenge for me but I got the hang of it in 2024. Hopefully, the streak will continue in 2025 as well. The best among the lot were lappujhanna (hindi) and The Case that Shook India.
The first one was about portrayal of life in a small village of India and boy how I could relate to that. The latter one was about the imposition of Emergency in India and the events, a court case in particular, that led to the black day in the history of our nation.

Another good thing that happened in 2024 was me following a fitness regime, which when explained in one word is WALK
I decided to walk and then kept on walking throughout the year. I did not follow any plan or made any goals, I just kept it simple. And what great dividends this simple plan gave to me: walked 1567kilometers in 2024 and in the process lost 8kg of weight.
When I decided, my only objective was to walk, these kilometers gained and kilograms lost happened as a side note.

The plan is all the same for 2025 as well: One step at a time, One oage at a time.
How was your 2024? And what are your plans for 2025?
