One interesting side note: Out of all my acquaintances raising girls, only the one who restricted access to screens of all types (phone, tablet, tv) until at least the age of 4-5, got children with a developed social and emotional intelligence, and high skills in these areas. The other ones, who let unrestricted kind of access to any kind of screens, are better developed intellectually, but completely lack social/emotional understanding. Those in the middle got basic/average skills in both area. Personally, I think emotional and social skills are more important in life as adult then learning computer skills and intellectual stuff.
