Pain is a feeling you can get a lot of at the gym. Is it pain that makes you not want?
Some people get tattoos, and get them a lot. Once they get one, they get more. They're allegedly painful. Are they addicted to the pain?
Do people who go to the gym get addicted to the pain of the gym?
I wonder if pain tolerance is just slightly less developed parts of the central nervous system or brain. Those with a higher tolerance have less "sensors".
Maybe, but I don't think so. I think that people can manage things differently, including feelings. Some people can choose to deal with more discomfort than others. For example, I can be cold and still think "this isn't cold enough to kill me" but my wife will put on a jumper well before then.
And this is why I sweat in winter, the bloody heater. :P I hate hot air!
