Doing one's best is all anyone can do. But at the same time, those blokes shooting were also doing their best as they saw it in that moment. Given a slightly different lead in, perhaps their best would have been better.
Yep, indeed. Got shot twice for his efforts and is in hospital, but did a good job. I'd have shot the cunt in the abdomen with his own weapon though...but that's just me.

The bloke who reportedly tackled and disarmed one of the shooters did the best he could, and pretty damn good at that.
