WHY THE PRESSURE?

in Reflections2 months ago (edited)

Good day everyone.
‎Some thing actually happened in my community yesterday been Sunday and so I want to reflect on it hear.
‎A thive was caught and was about to be burned alive and at that moment the police arrived and arrested the man.
‎Lucky for him.

Report says that he was asked a question at the station: why do you steal?
‎His answer was to impress his father who always try to compare him financially with other children in the neighborhood.

Too much pressure the father is putting on him to make money, build house and more while he is still a student in the university.

‎When I had the side of the boys story, had to confirm if it's true and it appears the boy is speaking the truth.
‎It appears the father is more than 60 years and the boy is only 22 years of age so I got wondering why a father would pressure his son these much to archive at 22 what he could not archive in more than 60 years?

I need answers

Sometimes, I believe it the influence of pressure about them enjoying the fruit of their labor as they have toiled all their life to raise their children. At 60 years, a man is expected to work less and rest more as old age is starting to set in.
