Last September 5, 2025, I entered a restaurant together with my colleagues, I saw a flower that amazed me for a while. I took a picture on it and say, "is this real or not"? My curiosity led me into a realization.

As an individual, I look at things-mainly on how I give meaning to it. Like the flower, I first saw it- as a plastic made. But when I touch it and saw its texture, I would say it was real. In the world of inconsistent, there were a lot of happenings that beyond our control. People saw as depending on their perspective in one glance. It could be bad or good. It could be beneficial to us or not.

If we look at life worthy to live, all ups and downs will be easy to handle. It's all about accepting and willingness to take all challenges that life may give.

My life before:

Before I used to compare myself to an ice cream that melted easily. When I encountered challenges in life, I don't have courage to face them. Sometimes I doubted myself if I can really handle things right. I feel affected easily especially everybody has high expectations on me. Worries arise and sometimes lead into confusions. It takes sometimes to recover.

But my perspective now was changed by a certain force that always whispering into my ears. Giving forgiveness to oneself is the key. Letting go in the pass will help to heal wounds. "If you forgive yourself and willing to accept who really you are, then it is easy to be happy and satisfied." Like the flower that amazed my eye, its true beauty wasn’t in what it was-"fake or real "but in how deeply it shift me in that sudden moment.

Indeed it is better off letting go of the past for sanity sake and growth. @noddie21 keeping things too much in mind do no good than complicate issues or situation. Thanks for sharing this insightful ideas

Very satisfying read. Letting go of the past, not thinking too much of what others may say, and embracing oneself’s flaws and beauty is HAPPINESS.
