Naturally, I feel like I am doing something terrible or missing some mark when I do not see appreciation or attention for what I do. Yes, I have felt my content is drab and boring a couple of times. But, lately, I have been trying to wean myself off that mentality as that it really isn't mine—as a time came and some good folks people made me understand that I'm actually alright.
My standard has always been, "Create what you can go back to after a long time and be proud of it—especially when you remember the joy of doing it the—rather than cringe over it and hope it never surfaces again."
I'll admit that I don't show up every now and then as should, like making posts regularly and going around often, but the very least I do when I "try" is to be genuine, sincere, and wholehearted as I can be.
I started trying all my best to use my photos—and them alone, if I can—when I started understanding your perspective and the truth about using stock photos. Normally, I can go through a post and not even take a millisecond on the photos if they aren't original, because there's nothing to appreciate about it. Knowing that people can feel that way, too, I try to use mine. They may not be the best, but they're mine and speaking of my personality. Thank you, sir Galen, for that.
And, speaking of attention, we can't satisfy everyone, and so there's no point trying. After all, we all have different preferences. As long as I am doing "me" and sticking to improving everyday, I should be fine and happy. I do like it when I get feedbacks, especially the nice ones.
For that individual that feels less of themselves, and are actually incredible by being genuine and wholesome with their content, I hope they see their reality as being awesome in their own way soon enough and be happy with it.
The concept of the colorful pencils lines up perfectly, sir. And the photos are very nice. Can I keep them? I know I can't use them on the internet.
Being genuine and sincere is a good start towards being a good person generally and I think it's a good way to approach Hive also.
I'm glad you use your own photos, and even though they may not be as good as professional shots, they're you, your personality as you say, and that has value. I appreciate peoppe that do so, over those who throw a stock image in...and more than one? I switch off and click away to better content immediately.
The person I mentioned in this post, I've got their back and that'll be fine. I just wanted to make a point to them and this post has done that.
