RE: Applying the brakes

in Reflectionslast year

Today I had lunch with a client who certainly isn't a picture of health; the person is quite overweight (morbidly obese) and considering he's had a heart attack in the past I'd have thought he'd not eat what he did at lunch or light up the cigarette afterwards.

If your client is a smoker and he usually smokes a cigarette after meals. He knows very well that that cigarette he smoked when he finished eating his opiparous lunch in front of you will keep him fit and as slim as he already is.

Have you died because of your terrible life-choices and habits? (I'm assuming no one will say yes to this one.)

Many have already done it, died, but they haven't realized it yet. And therefore they continue writing publicly whatever occurs to them as if nothing had happened.

Do you have bad habits you can't break

Fortunately I don't know what a bad habit is or what it means.
