Yup, using the exact same values to escape a system that broke due to said values is a pretty deep problem. When money is the only glue, there's no deeper values like community or loyalty, there's only positioning.
I joined Hive for both reasons - what I can write AND earn some crypto (which I knew very little about, but thought it was cool and alternative) ? The relationships - well, that was an added bonus.
