Companies (and countries and stuff) are made up of a bunch of people so technically it is individual perceptions, they've just gone and done the groupthink stereotype thing coz that's easy and how dare you question or go against this infallible truth XD

Yeah, it's people for sure but often the actual perceptions are based on second or third hand information/perception which tends to carry forward (Chinese whispers style) rather than facts. If I said who the organisation was it might make more sense to you, they're notorious in this country for their nutbaggery and for bullying other organisations, forcing costs down, all of which makes me more pleased with how it ended up after I put a lot of work in.
I feel like that's kind of the perception of most big organisations though XD
Yeah, they rarely make a lot of sense...as long as the shareholders get a dividend huh?
