Sometimes I feel like people are way too addicted to punishing other people especially if they’re seen as better than them (taking down a peg/tall poppies etc). In my limited experience the exact same people also feel like it doesn’t count when they do the literal exact same thing coz it’s completely different.
People complain of a corrupt government, even though they themselves are corrupt.
