Height has its advantages, but when kids are growing, dexterity and hand-eye coordination are generally not one of them
I know this so well, it's an endless source of frustration as without fail all my boys time their big grows for comp season and lose almost all of their skills and there is a mad panic as we try to reconfigure in a hurry with me very cheerfully telling them to time things better like they have any control over it XD
I suppose a pen would contain the mess and the amount of nonsense he could get into.
And we aren't allowed to pick him up or go to him, as that is rewarding behaviour, so he just kept whining.
That's stupid. He's a baby.
I went to him, picked him up and had a nap on the couch with him.
Nawwww ^_^ that's adorable and definitely has fyn's seal of approval XD
I probably have to qualify that I've never had this problem as all my cats have been able to sleep on the bed with me and dogs can sleep on the floor next to the bed (definitely systemic specism happening here, previously it had been so cats had a spot to sleep where the dogs wouldn't disturb them, and after we moved house it was kind of ingrained even though the "new" cats have plenty of sleeping spots where they won't be disturbed by the "new" dog, anyway the puppy that moved in four years ago only cried a little bit on her first night as my hand was on her at least until she fell asleep as she was on my side of the bed).
On the bright side the baby stage is both shorter and eternal with dogs so at least you shouldn't have prolonged periods of sleepless nights. Hope you've managed to get more :)
smalltalk is a vital part of a conversation
I am so bad at it x_x
eta because apparently I accidentally chopped a sentence oops x_x That spiral climbing thingi looks like a lot of fun, though maybe a bit challenging if you go around the outside. Glad smallsteps and friend had fun and that friend's mum thought you were okay enough to leave her kid with eventually.
