I write to challenge myself to express ideas better and to clarify my thoughts about whatever I’ve been thinking about. I like reading that kind of content too. I just want to see people going about their lives and trying to become better or exploring what interests them. If I want to read a novel or Wikipedia article I’ll pick up a novel or go to Wikipedia.
That's a good reason to be writing and it will provide great value.
Reading real people talk about real life is much more engaging than reading some spun rubbish. Passion and personality is where it's at for me...If I don't see it I stop reading and move on - the writing doesn't even have to be great - just real.
