Convenience vs Saving !

in Reflectionsyesterday

There has been a long standing discussion on how our convenient lifestyle is spoiling our life. Day by day our life has becomes more convenient. With everything possible at the click of the fingertip, no one one wants to do physical things. But somehow too much reliance on convenience can hamper our life. To much convenience may lead to eroding essential skills, diminishing meaningful experiences, and worsening physical and mental health. When convenience becomes the primary goal, it can lead to complacency and a disconnect from the effort and struggle that make life meaningful. But when the convenience can save a little bit #money then why people could end up doing physical things that may ask for extra hole in the pocket.

Convenience culture promotes a lifestyle of minimal movement. From food delivery services to remote work, we can meet many of our needs without ever leaving the house. These online stores also helps us get some good #discount on product. Few days ago I had some personal experience of online shopping which made me to wonder many things.

Two days ago, I ran short on my kitchen grocery. It was late at night that I realized I needed some item for next day meal preparation. Going out to market was not feasible as most of stores were closed by that time. So I started looking for online stores that may cater my requirement in quick time. When I started searching for items in different online stores, I found #jiomart app has a quick delivery option. I ordered my grocerry item from jiomart and it was delivered in next 18 min. Look at the fast paced services these online stores provides to ease customer headache.

Ordered (21.45) - processed (21.50) - shipped (21.52) - delivered (22.03). The entire process took only 18 minutes and I had my grocerry at my doorstep. Everything happens within fraction of minutes. Just take a look at the time stamp the platform took to make the quick delivery. My nearest #jiomart stores is approx 6 km away from my address. In addition to the quick service that I availed, I also get a hefty #discount on every items that was ordered. They were much cheaper as compared to physical stores. Before ordering these item, I did my own research on differrnt online platform to get the best discount and that could provide faster delivery. Even if I get to any physical stores I never going to get so much discount. As these stores offered products on their MRP and sometimes offer discount that ranges from 5% to 10% discount on overall bill. But these online stores always have reduced prices to woo the customer.*

This instances really put me in complex frame of mind. I left wondering if people really spoiling their life with the convenient lifestyle or they are making the most of the availed discount from these online stores. The demand for online shopping from clothing to medicine to grocery to food delivery has sky rocketed in recent years. Everyone is conveneintly ordering but in process does saves a lot of money through coupons and discounts.

A lifestyle defined by excessive convenience can negatively affect people's physical, mental, and social well-being. But in my case, I done some research by making comparision and analysis of differrnt online product to get maximum saving. It was an emergency, so I took upon the convenience path, which made me to make some good saving. I did all the mental calculation before ordering from #jimart. It was from pricing to delivery. I wanted a quick delivery and that too with good discount and without any delivery charges. All the research did make use of the brain. So I was mentally active while choosing the convenience path. Now as I have walked upon this convenience path, I will look forward to avail the same to get more discount. Money is the crucial factor here. Every penny saves is worth, by choosing to follow the convenience path if it saves even a rupee it means a lot to me.

Is convenience is so bad ? I doubt !

In good faith - Peace!!

Convenience is not a bad thing at all because I believe that everything we do in life we are always looking for an easier way out.

The fast rate of delivery of that online store is amazing and it also proves a point which is flexibility, accessibility and affordability.

For me, I will definitely stick with them 😁 since I can get my authentic products delivered faster and cheaper.
