I think in the next couple years with solid-state batteries and new charging tech, it is going to make more sense to drive electric.

They just need to find a way to make them lighter and less expensive. I've heard it basically takes a crane to replace one of them. Though lighter might not be as safe. It should extend range though.
And make then less toxic. What I like about electric though is eventually, swapping battery tech should be easy and cheap.
